祖国から遠い土地で無力さを感じながらも、
今自分は何をできるかを考え
日本を想い続けた1週間
ひとりでは大きな力にはなれないけれど
日本へ向ける祈りや想いを少しずつ周りへ広げていくことで
その輪は大きくなる
「Shino, 日本のために私たちにできることを教えて下さい」
近所のアメリカ人から届いた1通の手紙
日本の現状を伝え募金のお願いをしたところたくさんの協力が得られ
支え合う気持ちや人の温かさに胸が熱くなる
心身ともに疲れ果てている被災者の方々がインタビューで見せる笑顔は
とても痛々しくて でも
こんな時でも人を気遣い笑顔を見せる国民性
人と人との絆 大和魂
改めて日本人であることを嬉しく思い 日の昇る国を誇りに思う
元気なものが頑張るとき
